I’m very keen on kimchi, adoring its funky tang and sour heat, but it is quite a process making it yourself. And many of the mainstream varieties are either too timid or, even, pasteurised, which entirely misses the point. Kim Kong kimchi is gratifyingly much more like the ones you might find in a small Korean store, and your gut will thank you, too!

Leaps ahead of other kimchis!

I discovered kimchi only a few months ago, but when I did, there were fireworks. I ate nearly a whole jar of Kim Kong Kimchi in a single salty, spicy and sour sitting... It is AMAZING kimchi! Leaps ahead of many others I've tried now.

It’s been confirmed, I’m officially addicted to Kim Kong Kimchi! It was instant kimchi love!
Incredible yummy side dish with a great spicy kick. Although slightly expensive to eat every day, it is cheaper than other brands and you do get what you pay for which is a great tasting, homemade, vegan, locally produced (if you live in the UK) kimchi. I love it!

I found your kimchi in my local Whole Foods and was so pleasantly surprised to discover that it had the real depth of kimchi flavour that’s often missing in commercially-made kimchi. I’m Korean you see, and my mom is from the Jeolla province in Korea which is known for its rich and deep flavours. I’ve always had home made kimchi growing up and am somewhat of a kimchi snob. I hate restaurant kimchi and the commercially packaged ones, even the ones flown over from Korea.

I’ll be honest and admit that I was shocked to find out that you’re an English man. The Kim Kong Kimchi flavour is so authentically home-made I was convinced it was some old Korean lady who was churning out these wonderful jars of kimchi!! How wrong was I!!

My kids and I go through one small jar every two days (two jars when I make jjigae or bokumbap). Keep up the good work and thanks for spreading the kimchi goodness in the UK. I can’t wait to let my mom try your kimchi when she comes to visit.

I really could not believe how GOOD this product is!

First of all I am a massive kimchi fan and been eating it for quite some time now. I recently discovered your kimchi. I really could not believe how GOOD this product is! I've tried different organic and raw brands and they were nothing like the real stuff but your kimchi is the best. I literally can't stop eating it. After I opened it and tried it for the first time my boyfriend had to fight for the jar.

Nowadays I put it on/in everything. I love kimchi soup, on crackers and combined with anything really!
